Sex thing issue!

This article was really interesting because these situations actually happen really often at schools. It is important to recall that it was the girl’s decision of sending that naked picture to her boyfriend. One makes their own decisions and it was her fault because she was the one that started all this scam. Obviously events like these always come out and other people find out about them. Teenagers like that are still immature to handle those types of issues but not only I think it was her fault, I do think she wasn’t fine with herself.

In my opinion I do think that the school has no responsibility on her committing suicide because it was her own decision and also because that type of things are no reasons for you to lose your life. Probably she was also having other issues with the fact that she broke up with her boyfriend and all the things crumbled up and she was feeling depressed and that is why she did it. Truly I don’t think she committed suicide just because her school didn’t take harder measures to control the situation. People are responsible of their own actions that is why I think that the school or the children have no responsibility on her death.

FACE FACE FACEBOOOK!

I think that the security measures that have been implemented by Facebook are for the security of others who actually use Facebook daily. These measures have been created because Facebook is a site that needs to have security so people actually feel that they can post things only to their friends. Now with these measures Facebook will be more control about privacy settings and other applications we want to control. I think that it is great that they are actually caring about these problems because now Facebook is going to be more secure. This will be successful because now we can easily block or delete people we don’t even care about, such as people from out school. The effect would be a positive one because we are going to use it more now that it is more controlled.

Posting videos and quotations of people without their knowing it is really bad and I do think we need to control it, but I do think that the people from ASPV need to abstain themselves from adding students because they would only use our information to judge us in school or even it could affect us. In my personal opinion I do think that teachers who spend their time looking at student’s profile is because they don’t have anything to do and they just want to ruin our life. Also, students need to control who they add and who they don’t because they can find themselves in trouble if they adding staff from their own school. I think the school should own their own business and stop being tellers.

technology!

Technology has been a huge part in my daily life. My education has been based in technology because of the fact that since I was little they were showing me how to use computers to make my work easier and faster. Some of the experiences that I can remember are that I used to practice my typing skills in a program that was about to write as many words as you could in a minute. I remember that I had to put my fingers in the right place in the key board. Now today, I can say that this has helped me so much because of the fact that when my teachers want a typed essay I do not take a lot of time writing it in the computer. I remember this experience because I spend most of my days in the computer and that is why it is so important to me.

In the Colegio Americano I think my teachers could have integrated more technology in their lessons by letting us to use the computer in their classes, and type the notes. But recently you can’t even bring your computer to school. The main class that I actually think we have used the technology for better purposes is in computer class, because this year I’ve learned how to apply new programs to make new activities. Personally I think technology is a faster and easier and that is why technology is being created and invented every second of our lives.

In conclusion, every program that I’ve use since I was little in computers has created a more opened mind because now, if programs are created I can easily go through them and try to learn their process. This is a huge impact on my life because now that I am going to graduate I am going to be using technology and creating it too!

Hello hello!
once again im here telling you about another assigment we did at computer`s class with the awesome teacher Mr. Picketts!
This project we did was really fuun! it was awesome filming videos and then putting them into flash and creating a cartoon about them, now the next step is to put them all together and make a huuuug mega video!
i loved how i made that in my project the ball bounced, and the best part was when i took out my video and then the cartoon looked too cool!
Also, i love basketball and that is why my video is about me hanging in the net!
I honestly love this project!

FRUSTATIOOONS!

Hello Hello!

I just want to say that although I completed my assignment I was so frustrated in every aspect and second of it. At first, I honestly did not understand what was happening with all the Flash thing. I found it amazingly hard because they were so many motions, tweens, frames, frame key thingies, and break apart. At the end of it, I was able to overcome them because of you Mr. Picketts! If it wasn’t for you I would have not be able to complete my project. On the other hand, I feel relief about my final project because I managed to finish it on time and I honestly liked what I did it about! I absolutely loved the fact that the figures moved the way I wanted them to. I like my project like it is, I wouldn’t change anything because that would take time and I would be frustrated once again.
If you told us that I would continue by creating my two guys to throw the balls until the beer pong cups were empty!

The fisrt person of my family comes from years, decades, centuries ago. My family come from far far away greece, since decades ago we moved to mexico because we wanted to change our way of life. Mexico is a place where we find peace and love and we absolutely love it. Greece was the city of our past lives, but now all of my generation has come to live to mexico to provide wealth and prosperity to every other family!
Last summer we went to Greece because i didnt see my family in years so we wanted to gather once more together. When i went to Greece every person of my family was so happy and they were asking me how was my life in Mexico, i said to them, "It is the best life anyone could wish for" Those were my words and because of that now all my entire family moved to Mexico. In conlusion every person of my family can say that Mexico is better than Greece because every now and then everybody needs a change!

This is my second post this week and I’m going to write a little bit of the social media revolution video. This video is a motivation for humanity because of the fact that it makes us realize that media is increasing. Although this is a positive thing, it is also a negative one. I say positive because we can interact as fast and easy by just logging into our facebook and chat online. It is said that the internet is a source on which you can rely to communicate with other and be always aware at what`s happening in our world. On the other hand, it is a negative effect because we are not physically interacting as much as we use to. Internet is an addictive technology and the effects are that adolescents are the entire day in facebook, MySpace and other things, instead of doing sports or hanging out with their friends.

As years have gone by we have learned that technology is increasing every second of our lives. As a teenager I do use the internet a lot, this is why my life is less complicated. I truly think that past generations had a lot more work to do than what we have to do, because of the fact that they didn’t have internet and they had to be informed with other sources, such as: newspapers, actual conversations with people, and books. Generations have changed a lot with new inventions such as the biggest one that there is right now; technology.

In conclusion, this video is inspiring because it shows us how social media has increased in just several years. This is impressive because now we can interact a lot more easier just by using some internet programs. This video is a reality that we need to be aware of, because everything in excess has consequences and at one point of our lives we are going to have to face them.

Well I’m going to talk about one of the easier technologies right now; blogging!!! Uuuhuuu!! I started to learn how to do a blog a couple of days ago and I find it really interesting and also easy to do. The first thing that I learned was how to do my account and then how to upload pictures to my own personalized blog. After that, my classmates posted their URL on facebook so I could add them to my blog list which appears somewhere in my profile, that way I can go visit my friends blogs too! I expect that this blog is going to be useful to interact with my classmates and teachers a lot easier and faster! I`m going to be using this blog to post interesting things that I like and to be connected with people attending the American School of Puerto Vallarta!!! That’s about it for right now.
